Check out this list to help you make sure your golf cart goes a long way:

Every ClubCar comes with an Owner’s manual for quick reference.

1. Operations

Whether it is battery or petrol operated there are some aspects to look out for; Battery Operated = Check if the battery is charged, improperly charging can lessen the lifespan of your battery. Petrol Operated = Make sure the engine is cooled before adding fuel. Running low on fuel or low battery can lead to poor performance and unexpected breakdowns.

2. Water Levels

Like a car that needs water, a CLubCar also needs water, make sure your water levels of the battery are where it is supposed to be – It is advisable to charge the battery and then fill the water if needed water. This simple step can extend the life of your battery and improve performance.

3. Tires Pressure

After your battery/petrol levels and water check, the next important thing to remember is tires. Your golf cart can get a flat tire, it is more common than you think, especially when it is not used for a long time.

4. Brakes

Brake failure is also a major aspect to look out for, we advise to inspect your brakes every few months to have an efficient and functioning brake system.

5. Steering Wheel

A quick inspection can help prevent potential steering issues in the future. Do not forget to check the steering system to ensure all bolts are tight.

6. Replacements

When you need to replace the batteries no matter which one it is, it is advisable to replace them all for efficiency. Replacing just one battery can lead to uneven performance and shorten the lifespan of the new battery. For better efficiency and longevity, replace all batteries at the same time.

7. Lights and Mirrors

In the owners’ manual you will find all the light fuses if one of the lights does not work, make sure you mirror is in tip top shape.

8. Lubrication

If you ever notice oil on the ground near or around your golf cart, get underneath your cart and inspect, then call your local dealer to come and assist.

9. Storage

Whether the cart is not with you on holiday or standing due to the winter, it’s crucial to pay extra attention to storage, as it plays a key role in ensuring the longevity of your cart. Make sure your batteries are charged, and the cart has enough water. Indoor storage is the preferable way to store your cart with proper ventilation, if kept outside, make sure to cover it.

10. Yearly Service
